A short-film about loneliness, an allergy and a cosmic space cat.
(Work in progress) I am the Producer, Co-Writer as well as Lighting/Compositing/FX as well as one of the Creature artists for a short-film called 'Cat Hair Allergy'. We worked in a group of 4 to develop this project.
I designed this scene in VR using Google Tiltbrush to illustrate the Galaxy. I then used this to reference in Houdini and Unreal Engine where I created an expansive galaxy setting. I simulated all cloth and groom FX in this sequence.

I designed and simulated the Bed using Vellum.
For the vortex effect I scaled a torus while turning it to achieve this effect.

I found big cat references commonplace yet there was surprisingly less material on small cats. I decided to manually do this anatomical study myself.
