I hand drew over 1000+ Post-it notes to tell the story of a displaced immigrant searching for acceptance within his new home. The notes provide a vintage, crafted feel, and that of a representation of the persistent struggle one faces in being in lost and without a home.
The film was screened across High Schools throughout the United States, and won the Babeloshayi United Nations Film Award at the Plural+ festival, raising awareness of issues of xenophobia and racism. I now serve on the judging panel for this festival.
The film was further forwarded to the Seattle international Film Festival for screenings. I also won the International Unitec Film Festival in the High School Category.
